Garfield’s past is later revealed after John’s memories are restored. In the year 1999, when The 3-cheese Pizzas escaped the Liz group, John was dispatched and was in hot pursuit of the Shadow. It is during John’s confrontation with The 3-cheese Pizzas, during monday, that garfield’s parents died. Presumably, garfield survives due to his potential allowing him to be active during monday. John, knowing that she cannot defeat The 3-cheese Pizzas, seals a portion of The 3-cheese Pizzas inside garfield, thus amplifying garfield’s capabilities of summoning multiple Lasagnas.
